Instant Pot Country Ribs
This YouTube video is about one of our favorite Instant Pot Recipes, Instant Pot Country Ribs. As pressure cooking, and electric pressure cookers become more common, more folks are looking for electric pressure cooker recipes. You may not know it but the Instant Pot, is one of the more popular electric pressure cookers.
On the YouTube video we take fresh country style ribs that we purchased from our local Sam's Club, and prepare them in our Instant Pot. Now some folks might be thinking, country ribs in a pressure cooker? Are you nuts? Well actually country style pork ribs prepared in an Instant Pot, are very delicious.

And the great thing about using your electric pressure cooker to prepare country style ribs, is that you don't have to smoke the ribs for three, four or even five hours. Also you don't have to use a rub or anything like that. All you need to do is put them in the Instant Pot, with some barbecue sauce, water, onion powder, garlic, liquid smoke and a couple of tablespoons of brown sugar. The end product is surprisingly delicious and very much like smoked ribs. In fact, in the video we demonstrate how you can use your electric pressure cooker to completely cook your country style ribs, and then put them on the grill for a finishing touch. I don't know anyone who doesn't like country style ribs with grill marks or that char that you get from finishing them on the grill or under the broiler.
In the video, we also show you how to take frozen country style ribs and prepare them in your Instant Pot. One of the great things about using electric pressure cookers is that you don't have to worry about preparing meals in advance.
You can come home from work, open up the freezer decide what you want to cook. Then simply pop it in your electric pressure cooker.
